We are looking for a skilled Geotechnical Driller to join our growing team and assist in collecting crucial data for engineering projects.

Job Description:
As a Staff Geotechnical Engineer, you will be responsible for performing geotechnical investigations, analyzing data, and preparing engineering reports. You will collaborate with senior engineers, field personnel, and clients to provide technical expertise and solutions for a variety of construction, infrastructure, and development projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct field investigations, including soil borings, rock coring, and in-situ testing.

  • Analyze soil, rock, and groundwater conditions to evaluate their impact on construction projects.

  • Prepare geotechnical engineering reports, including recommendations for foundations, retaining walls, slope stability, and earthwork.

  • Collaborate with project teams to develop geotechnical design solutions.

  • Assist in the preparation of proposals and cost estimates for geotechnical investigations.

  • Review and interpret laboratory test results for soil and rock samples.

  • Provide geotechnical input for construction oversight and monitoring of foundation installations, excavations, and site grading.

  • Assist with field supervision of drilling operations and perform site inspections.

  • Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations in all geotechnical work.

  • Communicate findings and recommendations to clients, contractors, and project stakeholders.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field.

  • 1-3 years of experience in geotechnical engineering (entry-level engineers will also be considered).

  • Strong understanding of soil mechanics, foundation design, and geotechnical analysis.

  • Experience with geotechnical software such as AutoCAD, gINT, GeoStudio, or similar tools is a plus.

  • Ability to work in both field and office environments.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.

  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification preferred, with the intention of obtaining Professional Engineer (PE) licensure.
