We are looking for a skilled Geotechnical Driller to join our growing team and assist in collecting crucial data for engineering projects.

Job Description:
As a Geotechnical Driller, you will be responsible for operating drilling rigs to collect soil and rock samples for analysis. These samples are critical in determining ground conditions for various construction and infrastructure projects. You will work closely with geotechnical engineers, technicians, and field personnel to ensure accurate, efficient, and safe operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate geotechnical drilling rigs and related equipment.

• Perform drilling operations for soil and rock sampling, including auger drilling, rotary drilling, and core drilling.

• Collect, package, and label samples for analysis according to project specifications.

• Assist in site preparation, including setting up and maintaining drilling rigs and support vehicles.

• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulations at all times.

• Maintain and service equipment to ensure proper functionality.

• Collaborate with field engineers, technicians, and project managers.

• Record and document drilling activities, conditions, and findings in reports.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during drilling operations.

Qualifications and Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in drilling or a related field is a plus.

• 2+ years of experience in geotechnical drilling or related drilling operations.

• Knowledge of geotechnical drilling techniques and equipment (e.g., auger, rotary, and core drilling).

• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; CDL is a plus.

• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

• Good physical stamina, with the ability to lift heavy equipment and materials.

• Ability to travel to various job sites as needed.
